Is this a mattress protector or a fitted sheet?
Both. It is a fitted sheet with a waterproof layer built in, so it protects the mattress and gives you a soft organic cotton surface to sleep on. You do not need a separate protector underneath.
Will it feel like plastic?
No. The waterproof layer is hidden beneath the organic cotton, so the surface feels like normal cotton bedding rather than a plastic protector.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes. Wash it with your regular bedding and line or tumble dry on low. Our care guide has the full routine to keep the waterproof layer working.
Does it fit deep mattresses?
The corners are deep and elasticated to fit standard Australian mattresses. If you have a thick pillow-top, measure your mattress depth first and check the product page dimensions.
